Working group on standardising steppe bird surveys and data

The STEP-COUNT group aims to improve the standardisation of steppe bird survey methods and the management of the associated data.

It brings together researchers and technical specialists from Spain and Portugal to ensure that information obtained from different studies is comparable, reliable and useful for conservation.

Improving steppe bird survey methods

The group analyses and reviews the monitoring protocols used in different projects in order to:
